What’s it like to be a Queen?

Standard

Queen ElizabethIn case you haven’t noticed, this is a current photo of Queen Elizabeth of England. Do you ever wonder what it is like to be the Queen? A Monarch who lives in a Castle, and never sees the “Real World” may not be happy. Elizabeth looks very unhappy here. (I don’t know for sure, but she looks bored.) That crown alone must weigh 17 pounds (And costs 17 million pounds!).

Okay whatever. There are other kinds of Queens. Drag Queens for instance. Rue Paul, perhaps the most well known, is fascinating. He looks handsome as a man, and stunning as a female. In fact, he looks like a fun guy in general.

Then there is Dairy Queen. The best soft ice cream in the world. I recommend DQ if you are hot, tired and thirsty. They will put you in a better frame of mind. This is the one Queen that the common man or woman can really appreciate.

Let us not forget Queen Latifa. I wonder how she got that name. She is a good actress, with an incredible voice, and she is tough as nails. I admire her, because she has guts. How can you not like a woman who is fearless? She is a role model for other women.

And last, but certainly not least, the Rock Band Queen. Freddy Mercury (God rest his Soul), had the most amazing voice. His music can still be heard in TV commercials, movies, and on the radio. His legend will never die.

Did I answer the question? What’s it like to be a Queen?? No. I can only imagine what it is lkie to be the Queen of a country. It may sounds like a wonderful thing to be waited on hand and foot, with servants at your beck and call. It can be a total bummer too. What if you want to rearrange the furniture, dust, cook, or drive a car? You CAN NOT DO THIS….otherwise you will be taking a job away from a valet, maid, chef, or chaufer!

I always thought that it might be a little lonely to be a Queen. Rattling around in a big house, not being able to do anything for yourself, and mortals not being allowed to speak to you unless you are on tour. Oh, and the duties. What a headache. Having to get up and get out so early in the morning to do something you probably don’t want to do 😦
